What is the vision we have of our city for the future?

The long-term vision we want to express is:

“Bogotá will be in the top 5 Latin-American cities due to the quality of life: will offer advanced services to its citizens, visitors and investors. Its cultural and economic environment will be vibrant. Bogotá will successfully face problems in security and mobility. The city will also offer efficient solution to social inclusion and environmental sustainability”.

The vision we propose includes the recognition of the challenges the city is currently facing and looks at them as an opportunity to make the city a role model for solving problems.

It is necessary to highlight that the strategy is always building a constant dialogue between the city and its citizens: this is done in order to increase people’s sense of belonging through their participation, which ends up strengthening the social capital of the city that may be transmitted both locally and internationally.
