Bogota is a cultural benchmark that hosts the Iberoamerican Theater Festival, The International Art Fair (ArtBo) and Latin American’s biggest free outdoor rock festival; has a wide variety of museums, art galleries and libraries.
The city has a diverse gastronomic offer as well as an intense and interesting nightlife.

This library network receives over 4,3 million visitors per year. Bogota also has the bigges the Luis Angel Arango Library which receives itself over 5,000 visitors daily.
• Bogota has 70 museums, 90 art galleries, 45 theatres, 29 temples of patrimonial interest and 132 national monuments.
• Bogota provides 90% of products and services, related to creative industries in Colombia and has a workforce of more than 350,000 people who are linked formally to cultural activities in the city.
• Over 73% of the audiovisual enterprises in Colombia are located in Bogota.
• Bogota is an excellent scenario for movie, TV series, spots and digital animation production due to its experience, resources, prices, locations and governmental support.
• Rock at the park is a musical event that identifies Bogota worldwide. Since 1995 this event presents the best rock artists and also serves as a place for local new artist to show their work.
For 2011’s edition 336,000 people assisted to the event that took place for 4 days from the 1st to the 4th of July.
• More than 712 private cultural venues were held in Bogota between 2005 and 2010.
• 11 universities have music programs, which makes Bogota a perfect destination for musicians.
• Bogota has Philharmonic Orchestra among other cultural events such as ‘zarzuela’, theatrical plays and electronic music concerts, for which the city was postulated be a part of the Creative Cities Network of UNESCO in 2016.
